  15.      The Shared Resource Manager displays the directories, removable media
  16.      devices, and printers on your workstation that are shared over the
  17.      network with other workstations.
  18.  
  19.      The directories displayed by _s_h_a_r_e_m_g_r are those which have been exported
  20.      via nfs using the _e_x_p_o_r_t_f_s(1M) command.  The removable media devices are
  21.      those which have been shared via _m_e_d_i_a_d(1M).  Printers are displayed if
  22.      remote workstations are allowed to print to your printers, which is
  23.      controlled by the _r_h_o_s_t_s(4) file for the llllpppp account on your system.

  25.      _s_h_a_r_e_m_g_r provides access to interactive guides (also called tasks) that
  26.      let you share and stop sharing directories, removable media devices, and
  27.      printers.  These guides are accessed via the buttons on the _s_h_a_r_e_m_g_r
  28.      window.

  31.      Guides, also called "tasks," are interactive windows that lead users
  32.      through the steps necessary to perform various system administration
  33.      tasks, such as adding new user accounts and configuring networking on the
  34.      system.

  36.      A guide typically consists of a series of pages that prompt users to
  37.      enter information or select options. A user navigates through guide pages
  38.      using the Prev and Next buttons (or corresponding arrow keys).  When the
  39.      user reaches the last page of a guide and clicks the OK button, the
  40.      system executes one or more privileged commands to perform the system
  41.      administration task. These commands are located in /usr/sysadm/privcmd.
  42.      See _r_u_n_p_r_i_v(1M) for more information about privileged commands.

  44.      Many of the guides require that a user either know the root password or
  45.      be assigned the necessary privileges (using the _P_r_i_v_i_l_e_g_e_M_a_n_a_g_e_r(_1)) in
  46.      order to perform the task.
